What's it like to be the Premier Aftersales Manager?

As Martin Simmonds is our longest serving member of the Aftersales Team, we thought it would be best to ask him a few questions about what it is like to work at Premier...

What do you expect from a Premier Service Advisor?
To be a Premier Service Advisor you need excellent communication skills. We like to do things a little bit different than a normal car dealership, so we try to interact with our customers. As most of us have been here for 10 years or more, we are the familiar face that is here to help and advise you through your vehicle ownership.

What's your favourite part of the job?
My favourite part of the job is the relationship we have with our customers that has been built up over a number of years that goes far beyond 'business'. I think some of our customers buy as much into us as the products we sell.

What's it like to be part of the Premier Aftersales Team?
I think the thing that sets us apart from other car dealerships is the closeness of the team. We are fortunate enough to have a number of staff that have been with us a long time and when the heat is on, there is nothing better than having someone alongside you that you can rely upon and i think this comes across to our customers.

What do the Premier Aftersales services include?
We cover every aspect of your motoring needs (apart from the vehicle sale itself). Services we offer include pre-delivery inspection and cosmetic restoration, mechanical service workshop and MOT station, spare parts and accessory sales and an accident repair bodyshop. Other specialist services we offer are window tinting, paint protection, alloy wheel refurbishment, tyres, electronic diagnosis, air conditioning, mobile phone hands-free kits, 'ding and dent' repairs and brake-disc reprofiling.
