covid update

Non-essential retail can remain open for delivery to customers and click-and-collect.

The above line is taken directly from gov.uk and means that we can continue to offer a covid secure collection for any vehicle purchased either online or over the phone.

HOW IT WORKS

In light of the latest government guidelines, we have introduced new measures to ensure the safety of our customers and associates in the process of a vehicle collection & delivery.

Reservations and Deposit

To reserve a car you can put down a fully refundable deposit by calling us. Once this has been finalised, our sales team will be in touch to arrange a collection at a time that suits you.

In order to keep our stores safe, appointments must be made for any collection as only one customer will be permitted in the handover area at a time. Where possible, please attend your appointment on your own.

Latest update regarding COVID-19

To reduce social contact, the Government has ordered certain businesses and venues to close from 5th November. These include:

  • all non-essential retail, including, but not limited to clothing and electronics stores, vehicle showrooms, travel agents, betting shops, auction houses, tailors, car washes, tobacco and vape shops.

The above announcement was made by the government on Saturday and comes in to play from Thursday 5th November.

From the 5th November, our service departments will operate as normal as they have been for many months in a safe manner.

Our sales showrooms and used car external display areas will not be open to the public from 5th November until further notice. However, our team will be available to continue car sales remotely and we will be able to send you videos, talk to you via video and meet your needs almost as well as if you were with us. Customers can still collect a car which has been purchased via the telephone directly from our dealership, though the handover will need to take place outside. All vehicle handovers will take place from a designated exterior handover area and full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both staff and customer safety. Home delivery options are also be available, and all handled in a Covid safe manner.

Our staff remain on hand to assist with your sales and aftersales enquiries via website, email or telephone and you have the ability to reserve a car that you're interested in as well as booking a service or MOT.

Our aftersales departments are still here to answer any questions and queries. Masks and hand sanitiser MUST be worn whilst on site. Please come alone to drop your vehicle off where possible, leave your locking wheel nut and service book on the passenger seat and remove all other keys from your keyring before handing your vehicle key over to the service department.

Thank you for your patience, and for working with us to ensure our dealerships are a safe place to visit and work. We are open for business, but in regards to sales please call us rather than visit.

Collection & Home Delivery

When you arrive at the store, you will be greeted by a member of staff who will show you to the designated handover area. If you have a part-exchange vehicle, you will be shown where to park it. If we are delivering your new vehicle to your home gloves and other PPE as well as other safety measures will be in place.

Keeping you safe

All cars ready for collection are fully valeted and ozone sanitised any contact with the vehicle will be carried out using PPE equipment.
During the whole process, our associates will maintain the recommended 2-metre distancing.

After Collection

Once you have returned home and had time to explore your new vehicle. You might want to ask us some questions or you might want us to talk you through some specific operations on the vehicle.
